B.Tech 1. Computer Science & Engineering Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a  Council/Board recognized by the State Government / Central Government concerned, with Individual pass marks (in both theory & practical wherever applicable) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Computer Application) having minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for Reserve Category candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
Age Restriction-The lower age limit is 17 (Seventeen) years as on 31.12.2024.		 4 Years

(Lateral Entry)		 1. Computer Science & Engineering   Passed Minimum Three years / Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology in AICTE Approved Diploma college
 OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject OR Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector  (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)   
[ There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering/ Technology.
For B. Sc. Candidates, the upper age limit is 27 (twenty-seven) years as on 31.12.2024]

M.Tech 1. ECE- Communication Engineering B.E./B.Tech. in ECE /AEIE / Control & Instrumentation Engg. or M.Sc. In Electronics /Physics (with Electronics specialization) or equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. with minimum of 50% marks 2 Years
2. ME- Manufacturing Technology B.E./B.Tech. In ME/Production Engg or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks.
Diploma 1. Civil Engineering 10th standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional (for Counseling)
10th standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional and having 90 or above in Math & Physical Science/Science taken together in case of Direct Admission without JEXPO Rank.
Age Restriction- The lower age limit is 15 (fifteen) years as on 01.07.2024. 		3 Years

Automobile Engineering		   Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ TechnicalVocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship  Or 10th + 2 year ITI shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology. (The Affiliating Body will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)  
 2 Year
