Engineering Programme

B.Tech

  • Duration – 4 Years
  • Criteria – Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or Equivalent Examination from a Council / Board recognized by the State Government/Central Government concerned with individual pass marks (in both Theory and Practical wherever applicable) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application having minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for Reserve Category Candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
  • Age Restriction – The lower age limit should be 17 as on 31.12.2020.

B. Tech – Lateral Entry

  • Duration – 3 Years
  • Criteria – Diploma & B.Sc. Degree holders having at least 45% marks (40% in case of Reserve Category) with valid WBJELET score (Pass marks in XII standard with mathematics in case of B.Sc. Degree Holders.)

Diploma

  • Duration – 3 Years
  • Criteria – 10th Standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate along with valid score in Jexpo of current year.

M.Tech

  • Duration – 2 Years
  • Criteria – Bachelor Degree or equivalent in the relevant field having at least 50% marks with current year GATE/PGET/CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS rank or score.
  • Candidates can apply after passing the Higher Secondary Examination by the different entrance exams (WBJEE,Jee (M), AMPAI) for B.Tech Course.
  • Candidates can apply after passing Diploma/B. Sc degree with a valid Rank in WBJELET of current year or can apply directly for B. Tech Lateral Courses.
  • Candidates can apply after passing B. Tech/BE or equivalent in the relevant field with current year GATE/PGET/CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS rank or score or can apply directly for M. Tech Courses.

Eligible candidates can apply for scholarships provided by Central / State Govt.
Student need to apply for a bonafide certificate from the institute, after getting the certificate he/she can submit it to their selected bank for availing loan. Institute does not have any tie ups with any banks.
