Dear Prospective Students,
It is my distinct pleasure as Principal to share this information on Dr. Sudhir Chandra
Sur Degree Engineering College with you. It is a part of JIS Group Educational
Initiatives as one of the top teaching and research institution in Engineering &
Technology. Our undergraduate programmes are ECE, ME, CSE, AUE and EE. This
College is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology and AICTE.
All the programmes offer curricula that combine a strong theoretical background with
hands on experience in excellent labs, and emphasize team work and communication
skills. To accomplish successful training, we have a team of eminent faculty with
in-depth knowledge and experience. Our faculty are dedicated to quality teaching,
research, and also help the students in their learning process.
Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College affirms that its sole purpose is
to develop high quality technical personnel with a sound footing on basic engineering
principles, technical skills, and exemplary professional conduct to lead and to
use technology for the progress of mankind, adapting themselves to changing
technological environment with the highest ethical values as the inner strength.
It has been said that while scientists study the world as it is, engineers create the
world that has never been. Engineering is the key driver of human development. I
beckon all current and prospective students to become responsible engineers and
make their parents, institution and the nation proud.
The aim of the College has always been to provide an adequately skilled manpower
having the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitude for industry, commerce and the
public sector.
Students become representatives of the College and all that it symbolises. The
achievements of the college will be borne out in your conduct and performance
during the period of training for the world of work.
The success of the College will be measured by the quality of its graduates –
